Christmas Message from Tom Brejcha

On behalf of myself and everyone at Thomas More Society, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas.

Today, we celebrate the birth of Jesus, when God entered our fallen world as one of us—humbling Himself so that we may all have life everlasting.

As the awe-inspiring words of Isaiah 9:6 remind us today: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called: ‘Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’”

It is in the Baby Jesus that we find the true and complete embodiment of love, mercy, justice, goodness, and peace.

Our families at Thomas More Society are united today with those across the United States and abroad, in prayer and celebration in remembrance of the birth of our Savior.

In the image of the newborn Baby Jesus, we see infinite hope. This is the same hope that inspires our quest for justice every day in our defense of those who have been wronged, cast aside, and persecuted.

This Christmas, I’d like to ask you to remember in your prayers all our clients who are facing great obstacles and injustice for speaking the truth and living out their faith—for defending life, family, and freedom.

Especially today, please keep pro-life advocate Lauren Handy and her co-defendants in your prayers, as they cannot be home to enjoy the comfort of their own loved ones.

In the Gospel of Matthew, the Angel in Joseph’s dream told our Lord's earthly father "do not fear.” So, too, we must refuse to be afraid of sharing the truth—whether it is in defense of unborn life, in defense of the family, or simply and joyfully expressing our faith in the public square.

Thank you for all your prayers and support this year. I hope that you have a blessed Christmas filled with joy and wonder.

May God bless you,

Tom Brejcha
